I participated in the Adobe XD Challenge to sharpen my UI skills.
Day 1 - Pet Adoption App
CHALLENGE: Design the browse experience for a pet adoption app. As users browse, allow them to either tap for more info or swipe to favorite.
FOCUS: Multiple Interactions
About Pawsome
Pawsome is a pet adoption app where people can browse through pets available for adoption by swiping left and right and tapping on a pet’s card to see more info. If they see a pet they are interested in, adopters can contact the foster home or shelter right from the app!
Process:
I looked at examples of existing pet adoption apps like Petfinder or WeRescue to get inspiration for this prototype. I wanted to use fun bright colors to give it a friendly look and feel.
Day 2 - Scooter Rental App
CHALLENGE: Design a payment experience for a scooter rental app for smartwatch or the device of your choice.
FOCUS: Multiple Button States
About Trotinet
Trotinet is a scooter rental app in France. Users can find our scooters in selected cities around the country. Simply launch the app, locate the nearest available scooter, pay for your time and you’re ready to ride!
Identity:
The name Trotinet is a play on the words “trottinette” which means scooter in french and internet. The logo is a scooter icon in navy and yellow to give it a clean modern look.
